Bluetooth Motorcycle Helmet for Riders

The ILM Bluetooth Integrated Motorcycle Helmet offers motorists a DOT-certified solution with one-button control for answering phone calls, rejecting calls, and redialing the last number. With the helmet connected to a mobile phone, wearers can enjoy music, listen to FM radio, or receive GPS voice prompts.

This motorcycle helmet also features an intercom function, supporting pairing of up to 3 riders and allowing 2 riders to communicate simultaneously at a distance of up to 500 meters (1,640 feet). However, the rider-to-rider intercom communication is only compatible among ILM 953 Bluetooth helmets (B019PU4T7K) and ILM TCOM-SC Motorcycle Helmet Bluetooth Intercom (B088ZQ5547), and is not compatible across other brands.

The modular helmet is designed to be slightly snug to achieve noise reduction, and a larger size is recommended for a looser fit. The fully charged ILM Bluetooth helmet can provide up to 12 hours of phone talk time, 8 hours of intercom talk time, and 110 hours of standby.

It is important to store the battery in a cool place and charge it regularly, even if the helmet has not been used for a long time. If the helmet's Bluetooth system has not been used for an extended period, the battery may enter a deep sleep mode, requiring a 30-minute charge to restore the functionality.

The Bluetooth 3.0 technology in this helmet offers one-touch control for phone calls, music, FM radio, and GPS navigation audio. Incoming phone calls will override the intercom, music, and GPS navigation audio.

The intercom function supports pairing of up to 3 riders, with 2 riders able to communicate simultaneously at a maximum distance of 500 meters (1,640 feet). However, this rider-to-rider intercom communication is only compatible among ILM brand Bluetooth helmets and is not compatible across other brands.

The helmet's battery set includes 1 battery and 1 USB cable, and a user manual is also provided. An extra battery is available if the original one doesn't work properly. Users are advised not to forcibly plug the charging cord completely into the port, leaving a small space for a better user experience.

The visor hinge is designed as a modular system, allowing the visor to be easily attached or detached for cleaning or replacement. Additional visors, such as anti-fog (B08LQ2XCGR) or clear/dark black (B074KZ8XH5/B074KZQFLY), can be purchased separately.

The chin guard can be lifted by pressing the release button, converting the full-face helmet into a flip-up design. The chin curtain is removable and provides protection from cold and wind while riding.

The top liner and ear liners are removable and washable. Users should take care when changing the ear pads, as the headphones are inserted into them. Additional cheek liners/pads can be purchased for a better fit.
